Louann (TingHsuan) Liu (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist, and Licensed Associate Art Therapist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across community, school-based, hospital, and telehealth settings. She earned her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Caldwell University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Louann is deeply passionate about helping individuals discover their inner strengths, build resilience, and feel empowered in their healing journey. She believes that every person deserves a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where they can feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Her work is grounded in the belief that meaningful therapeutic relationships can foster growth, self-acceptance, and lasting change. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and developmentally attuned. She integrates person-centered therapy with evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), while also encouraging authentic and spontaneous emotional expression through creativity and play.
