Sarah Small is a licensed clinical social worker, certified school social worker, and clinician at Morris County Play Therapy. Sarah has over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families, providing therapeutic services to children and families since 2007. Using both non-directive and directive play therapy, creative arts, behavioral interventions, and a lot of laughter in her work with clients, Sarah creates an environment where each person can draw on their own strengths and inner wisdom to make positive changes. Sarah has worked extensively in urban school settings and has experience working with children who have experienced trauma, have learning disabilities and who display difficult behaviors. Sarah also has experience navigating the Child Study Team and IEP process, helping families and schools to collaborate in the best interest of the child.
