There are many benefits of Kundalini Yoga for teenagers, including: Emotional Heath: Teens can becomes more aware of how they feel. Through the yoga, breath, & relaxation, they discover how they can work through feelings into a more positive space. Physical health and wellbeing: Teens will be up off the couch, away from the TV, computer & phones and moving his or her body instead of moving fingers over a keyboard or phone. Brain Tune-up: Kundalini yoga offers many brain-balancing exercises that activate meridian points for a more balancing, whole brain effect. This translates into clarity, the ability to learn and understand academics, & good physical and mental coordination. Joyful life: Children come into life as joyful beings–let’s keep them that way. If situations & circumstances, or just simply the experience of being a teenager has dulled their natural radiance, yoga can help them to reclaim it.
