Gabriella Campana (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified School Social Worker, and clinician at Morris County Play Therapy. Gabriella works with children, adolescents, young adults and families utilizing clinical methods tailored to meet their individual needs. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies, at the University of Delaware. Gabriella earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at Columbia University’s School of Social Work. She has been working full-time as a School Social Worker since September 2015, which has flourished her passion for helping children and families navigate their school environment, advocating to appropriately meet students’ needs, and coaching parents in working together with their school district (see educational consultations for more information).
Gabriella has a strong background as a Behavior Assistant, supporting children and their families with creating and implementing behavior plans, navigating challenging behaviors, and fostering positive behaviors. Gabriella has worked for many years supporting individuals with anxiety disorders, or anxiety related symptoms. Gabriella has a passion for working with individuals who are neurodivergent, including ASD (autism spectrum disorder), ADHD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder), SLD (specific learning disability), as well as individuals who experience anxiety and depression. Gabriella utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strength-based techniques, while working in collaboration with clients (and/or families) as they navigate life’s challenges.
