Heather Webster (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who is passionate about working with children and families to help them heal and grow. Heather has a natural way of making children feel valued, respected, cared for, and understood. Heather has been working with children in various settings for over fifteen years, including her own journey of parenting through special needs and crisis. These experiences led Heather to obtain her Master of Social Work degree. Heather’s unconditional positive regard for children and her belief in their inherent abilities naturally led her to become certified in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). Heather is currently working towards her LCSW & RPT under supervision by Crystal Zelman, LCSW, CCLS, RPT-S. Heather is also trained in Attachment/Regulation Theory and is passionate about fostering secure attachment relationships between children and their primary caregiver so children’s attachment needs of feeling safe, seen and known, comforted, valued, and supported can be met. Heather is dedicated to creating the safe environment and secure therapeutic relationship that children need to experience attachment security. In the safety of this secure therapeutic relationship children can safely share themselves, their feelings, their experiences, and ultimately develop the skills and resilience needed to overcome challenges and thrive.
